Bedtime Stories

TITLE: Bedtime Stories
SYNOPSIS: Adam Sandler plays a man who's father used to own a hotel. When he was younger, Sandler had hopes that one day, he would run the hotel. Unfortunately, that never happened. Sandler is just a maitenance man. Then, one day, his sister calls telling him that she's going out of town for a few days. She asks him to watch her two kids while she is gone. However, Sandler's sister is a principal and won't let her kids watch TV, eat junk food, or do anything even remotely fun. So, Sandler puts some fun into their lives. And each night, he tells the kids a bedtime story, but the kids add in most of the good parts. Then, the next day, the things from the story that the kids added in actually happens to Sandler. So, does this mean that he will get to date his boss' hot daughter? To find out, you'll have to watch...
FAVORITE QUOTE: *It starts raining gumballs*
MY THOUGHTS: This movie was a lot more of a kids movie than I expected it to be. The main reason being was that it features Adam Sandler as the main character. If you've ever seen any of Sandler's movies, you know that they are not appropriate for children. However, I like the way he toned it down. Yes, there is still some adult orientated humor, but it's not as extreme as it is in his other movies. Sandler did a very good job. In fact, all of the cast did. Also, this film parodies so many other films. I can't even begin to list them all. And, I don't want to, as it would spoil too much of the movie for you. However, I will say this, for you sci-fi fans, be on the lookout for a Star Wars parody. Oh, and for anyone and everyone who goes to see the movie, look for a bit of a twist in the plot. I can garuntee you'll get a few laughs out of this movie.
MY RATING:: 4 Train Whistles
